Peristaltic pumps, also known as hose or tube pumps, use positive displacement to work. Fluid is piped through a rotating roller that squeezes the flexible tube onto the pump housing.
The working principle of peristaltic pump is easy to understand, just like squeezing a tube full of liquid with two fingers one by one. When the finger slides forward, the liquid inside the tube will flow forward with the finger.
