Peristaltic pump is a kind of compressed hose for work pump. Its working principle is to compress the hose to make the liquid in the pump body pressure, so as to achieve the purpose of conveying and flowing. The control principle of peristaltic pump is mainly to control the output flow and pressure by changing the working state of the pump.
There are two main control methods of peristaltic pump: manual control and automatic control.
Manual control is to manually adjust the pump pressure and flow to control the output of the pump.
Automatic control is through the electronic control system to realize the automatic control of the pump. The automatic control of peristaltic pump is mainly realized by sensor and controller. The sensor is used to detect the output flow and pressure of the pump, and the controller realizes the automatic control of the pump by processing the feedback signal of the sensor.
There are usually two kinds of sensors: flow sensor and pressure sensor.
Flow sensor mainly calculates the flow rate of liquid by detecting the speed of liquid through the hose.
The pressure sensor calculates the pressure of the liquid by measuring the pressure of the hose. The controller is through the sensor signal processing, to control the output of the pump.
There are usually two kinds of controllers: PID controller and fuzzy controller.
PID controller is a common controller, it through the sensor feedback signal for proportion, integration, differential processing, so as to achieve the control of the pump.
Fuzzy controller is a kind of controller based on fuzzy logic, which realizes the control of the pump through the fuzzy processing of the sensor signal.
In general, the control principle of peristaltic pump is to realize the automatic control of the pump through the sensor and controller. The controller can be PID or fuzzy, depending on the application scenario and requirements.
