Causes of liquid reflux in peristaltic pump

Release date:Jan 31, 2023 Source:PreFluid Pageviews:-
Peristaltic pump is also a positive displacement pump products, so this qualified pump head can be in its preset pressure in any of the edge up to the liquid, if the outlet liquid pressure is not less than the peristaltic pump pump head preset lower limit pressure, so the transmission of the liquid does not flow into the phenomenon of existence, the flow rate of peristaltic pump is balanced.

If the pressure at the outlet is less than the higher pressure preset by the peristaltic pump pump head, the liquid transmitted will have an inflow phenomenon, resulting in a decrease in velocity. When the peristaltic pump stops in the process of liquid inflow, encounter such a situation should be how to resolve?

Industrial peristaltic pumps are like squeezing two hoses filled with fluid between your fingers. The fluid moves along the tube as your fingers slide forward. The peristaltic pump works only with a roller instead of a finger. Fluid is pumped by alternating erosion and release of the pump's elastic delivery hose. Just like squeezing a hose with three fingers, with the movement of the fingers, the tube formed negative pressure, liquid flow suddenly.

1. Please confirm whether you use qualified hose or not. The peristaltic pump hose has requirements on wall thickness, elasticity, pressure resistance and corrosion resistance.

2. If your peristaltic pump tube has not changed for a long time, please pull it out from the pump head to confirm whether the working part of the hose is brittle, soft, loss of elasticity, discoloration, swelling, damage and other phenomenon. Please deal with the change of the hose in time when it should be.

3. If the life of your peristaltic pump pump head is shorter or the appearance has obvious cracks, please deal with the change of the pump head in time.

It is worth noting that the hose diameter at the head is very thin or too long or the inner wall is very hard. In this case, it will also increase the operating pressure at the outlet. Therefore, we can not only look at the amount of head, and make appropriate adjustments according to the actual pipeline situation.
