1, confirm the size of the flow, usually flow selection reference unit: ML/ ML/Min; CC/Min. Confirm the nature of the fluid, the fluid acid and alkaline, whether corrosive, whether it is an organic solvent. Confirm the fluid viscosity, fluid viscosity, fluidity of the delivery. Confirm whether there is particulate matter in the fluid being transported and the size of the particulate matter.
2. Confirm that the temperature of the fluid transported, high temperature or ultra-high temperature, will affect the life of the peristaltic pump and hose pump with the peristaltic pump hose. Confirm conveying distance, head, suction, etc. Confirm the use mode of the peristaltic pump, such as simple fluid transmission, timing and quantitative transmission, or the use of supporting equipment, and whether special interfaces are needed.
3. Confirm the voltage, current and noise requirements of the peristaltic pump used. To reduce pulsation, many peristaltic pumps provide a spring-loaded mechanism to ensure smooth pumping action. This feature is also important for shear-sensitive fluids. Another aspect to consider is adjusting the pump to different pipe sizes depending on the desired flow rate.
4. More complex pump types also have adjustable occlusion function. This feature helps to adjust the pump to different pressure levels that may occur in the fluid system. In addition, it helps to adjust pump performance according to different pipe materials. Depending on the type of fluid, softer tubes made of silicone are used, while for chemically demanding applications, fluorine-containing elastomers are required. These are usually much more difficult.
In order to improve efficiency, multi-channel peristaltic pump can be used to transfer different media at the same time, or the same media can be distributed to different containers. It is simple and easy to operate, reversible, and supports two-way liquid transmission. The number of rollers also has a big impact on fluid handling, and if a gentle transfer medium is required, more rollers are often used to maintain the pulsating level of humidity.
