Application scenario of hose peristaltic pump in tape production
In the process of making adhesive tape, in order to achieve a more uniform spread of glue, the glue is generally transferred to the cotton or sponge through a hose peristaltic pump, and the packaging bag can evenly remove the glue by touching the cotton or sponge. If you want to spread more evenly, then the glue saturation of the cotton or sponge should be relatively stable. If the pulsation frequency is low, then the interval between the two strands will be a little longer, because the product has been running at a high speed, this interval will take away a lot of glue, so that the glue saturation of cotton or sponge is greatly reduced, resulting in uneven application. Therefore, in order to spread evenly, glue must be quickly added for the cotton or sponge to maintain the saturation at a relatively stable value. At this time, the problem can be solved by increasing the frequency of pulsation.
There are two ways to improve the pulsation frequency of peristaltic pump:
1. Improve the speed of the hose peristaltic pump. Under the condition of a certain pump head structure, improving the speed is a more direct method to increase the pulsation frequency. But if there are strict requirements on the flow rate, it is not possible to simply increase the speed, because the speed increases the flow rate will increase accordingly, so we should replace a thinner hose, and then increase the speed, so as to ensure the flow rate requirements, but also improve the frequency.
2. Increase the number of peristaltic pump head rollers. Under the same speed, the pulsation frequency will be significantly increased, but after the number of rollers is increased, under the same arc and roller structure, the flow rate of the pump head will be reduced, so the pump speed should be increased to achieve the same flow rate, so the pulsation frequency will be further increased.
